AI-powered applications are slowly becoming reality, but not always in headline grabbing, shock-value ways. The introduction of Simulated ATC Environment (SATCE) to the world of flight training closes a gap in realism and effectiveness of training that closely aligns with many of the trends we have seen promoted over the recent years - Competency-Based Training Assessment (CBTA) and Evidence-Based Training (EBT), both utilize data from the operational world to drive training. But how can training in the simulator replicate the real-world experience, world-load and intensity, if the most significant threats and distractions are missing - ATC and other traffic? Enter SATCE... The ASTi Simulated Environment for Realistic ATC (SERA) is the state-of-the-art solution in the SATCE product space. With well over 200 systems deployed covering all facets of pilot training - initial (both conventional and MPL) through airline recurrent, and everything in-between, SERA is the answer to that radio silence you hear when you put on the headset in your flight simulator, or look out of the simulated cockpit windows at that empty airport. And shortly, we will have significant data from studies looking at the effectiveness of SATCE, such as described by our good friends at Purdue School of Aviation and Transportation Technology - Dr Ziakkas and his team will soon have more evidence to that training with SATCE is a critical piece of the CBTA/EBT and MPL training pipeline.

Last week was (once again) full of events for HawAI.tech!
📜 First stop: the first 𝐄𝐮𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐒𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐮𝐦 was held on Monday June 17 at the Ministère de l’Économie, des Finances et de la Souveraineté industrielle et numérique under the patronage of Bruno Le Maire and organized by La Tribune.
It was an opportunity for us and many actors of this space to reiterate the importance of the Chips Act in order to boost Europe's competitiveness and resilience in semiconductor technologies and applications and to secure the EU’s supply of this essential hardware material.
🪖 Next stop: from Monday June 17 to Friday June 21, Eurosatory, the Global Event for Defence and Security event took place at Paris Nord Villepinte.
At our booth, as part of the 𝐄𝐮𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐋𝐚𝐛, we were able to show our new drone demonstration for onboard real time decision making. More than 2000 exhibitors were gathered for this incredible moment.
🤝 On Tuesday afternoon during Eurosatory the launch of the FIADS association was announced: The Professional Association of French Manufacturers Specialized in AI for Defence and Security. HawAI.tech is very excited to be a founding member of this association. The FIADS aims to:
- Responding concretely to the challenges of AI for defence and security
- Strengthening national sovereignty
- Defend the interests of the industry
🖥️ Last but not the least, the 𝐀𝐈 𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐄𝐝𝐠𝐞 𝐀𝐈 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭 𝐄𝐮𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞, took place on Thursday June 18 and Wednesday June 19 in London.
Numerous industry peers have attended this event. A not event to miss for AI infrastructure and semiconductor companies.

Kicking 2024 off in full innovation mode these past two weeks💥
Here are the key takeaways that our CEO, Sven, brought back from #ces2024!
Are you ready to tackle 2024 with us? Let's ignite the magic of Silicon Valley together and spread a wave of innovation in the German economy! 💪 🚀
Chief Executive Officer at GACC WEST - Representative of German Business
🌐 So, after the smoke settled, here are my five cents on CES 2024!
🚗 While the official #German presence might have been stronger (except for the big guns like Mercedes-Benz AG, BMW Group, or Bosch), the real heroes were the unsung warriors - the young, innovative German companies turning heads in Las Vegas! Kudos to Benjamin from Sensit! or Tom from move technology GmbH - guys like these redefine innovation. #Germany, take notes!
🇩🇪 Urgent memo: We need more of this innovative spirit across the homeland! Let's channel our inner Benjamin and Tom to unleash Germany's full potential. Sometimes it's worth thinking outside the box and taking a look at innovative regions. Hats off to #Saxony and Kerstin, who precisely achieved that feat this week here in the Silicon Valley.
🌐 But wait, there's more! My personal highlight was not just the mind-blowing tech but spending time with my dear colleague Matthias from GACC South - German American Chamber of Commerce of the Southern U.S., Inc. Representing our #AHKUSA in Vegas was a blast.
🤝 And shoutout to all the fantastic people I connected with from both sides of the pond - you know who you are! 🚀 💙
Time to bring that CES energy back to Deutschland! 💡💥
