The whole series spotlights fonio - a West African grain that has been around for over 5000 years. “We had a blast. It’s one of my favorite days of not brewing beer.” Taylor Lamm, the Brewmaster at Oconee Brewing Company, talks about the process of filming some of the content we made for the brewery. There are lots of effective ways to use video in your business. Taylor talks here about how he used a series of short videos to drive his business. But if we zoom out just a little, you’ll notice that this is also a strategic video within my business, and the kind that you can implement, too. A case study, or a testimonial, serves as social proof for the results of your business. This is the highest converting type of video. Here’s how it works. If you have been following me, know me personally, or are one of my clients, then you already know what it’s like to do business with me. But if you don’t know anything about my business, and you are exploring my stuff, and come across this type of social proof, you might just be led to reach out. Your business has an opportunity for social proof, too, in the form of testimonials or case studies. And part of that strategy is not just posting the video on social - it’s where that testimonial video lives in your marketing funnel to work its magic at just the right time. ✅ Here's a perfect example of how diversity at the top of a company can create a competitive edge ✅ The Black-owned Brewery, Brockton Beer Company is part of the minuscule 2% of breweries that are Black-owned in Massachusetts. Although one of the co-founders confided that "it's a challenge for people of color to break into this industry", they've managed to carve out a niche for themselves that's unlike the other 98% of their competitors. They infuse their beers with "flavors that nod to their cultural heritage, such as mango and calamansi."
