The guests discussed the advantages and disadvantages of the size of asset management institutions and the differences between international and domestic managers. Wan Ying mentioned that the success of investments does not necessarily depend on the size of the institution but is primarily influenced by the investment capabilities of the team. Li Wenqing also emphasized that cooperation and competition between different institutions are long-term phenomena, especially in the vast market space of wealth management and FOF. Nordea’s European equity products saw renewed interest in Q2, whilst its hedge funds experienced outflows, says Snorre Storset, head of Nordea Asset & Wealth Management. Nordea’s Q2 report, published yesterday, revealed that the company experienced positive net flows for the first time since last summer.
