A few key takeaways from our conversation: 👉 Recognising that areas of strength can always be further developed is essential. 👉 If there's a genuine dislike for something, it's unlikely to change suddenly. The key is finding comfort in what one enjoys. 👉 Rejections, especially in job hunting, can be significant setbacks. Seeking support, sharing challenges, and gaining perspective from others can help build resilience. 👉 To stand out and gain recognition, the best advice is to stay true to oneself. Authenticity is crucial, and while self-improvement is valuable, it shouldn't involve pretending to be someone else. 👉 Showing genuine interest in people is vital for fitting in and overcoming nervousness in unfamiliar situations.
