🎉 Celebrating 2023 at Nexllence! 🎉 As I reflect on this year, it's incredible to witness the transformation we've undergone at Nexllence. The introduction of a new management team and a revamped organizational structure brought about its fair share of challenges, especially in project delivery. Personally, I embraced a new role as the Head of Low-Code, a journey filled with learning and growth. Yesterday, we came together to celebrate our collective achievements. Despite the hurdles, we not only met but exceeded our goals, both in terms of financial results and team efficiency. In the realm of Low-Code, we navigated through a challenging past year, welcoming new team members, trainees, and customers. The resilience of our team has been truly inspiring. I was originally a client of Unqork's and leveraged it to build a fully functional life insurance platform that included D2C Quoting and Application, Automated Underwriting, and a Policy Administration System. We also built an entire Study Tool to allow for cheaper, repeatable research studies. 💥 What do you find most interesting / exciting about working at Auxo Solutions? I love challenging problems. There are a lot in insurance, not only with the product but also with legacy systems and processes that exist in the market. We are working hard to make changes and it is fun to be on the frontlines. The first businesses that get it are going to be way ahead of their competition! 💡 What #advice would you give to someone looking to enter your field of work? Adaptability is key to success. We know the market is always changing. To support that, we need software with adaptable architectures built by adaptable engineers. 🎯 What's your #vision for the future of technology in your industry? I'd really like to see businesses align more with best practices in software development. Accounting often drives R&D spend and planning, which leads to time-based metrics and scheduling. Once we have value-based metrics led spending, which I concede is difficult but possible, it will drive the company forward faster and cheaper. 🚴 Outside of work, what are your interests or hobbies?
