#Quantum contrast agents are a powerful new weapon against #cancer. NVision Imaging Technologies is about to begin delivery of their POLARIS preclinical hyperpolarizers, the first commercially available system that can turn ordinary #MRI machines into powerful metabolic #imaging devices that can directly detect a wide variety of otherwise invisible cancers. #health #innovation #quantumsensing
Time for a behind the scenes look at our manufacturing process for POLARIS! 📽 👇 We are proud to be partnering with Demcon life sciences & health for the manufacturing and deployment of our POLARIS Preclinical system. As Amanda Merrick, Senior R&D Engineer at NVision Imaging Technologies explains: "We partnered with Demcon because of their extensive experience producing and designing robust and user-friendly devices in both the clinical and research settings. Our collaboration has been extremely successful and we're happy to be working with the Demcon team in the Netherlands." Quality, safety and robustness are built into every step of the POLARIS design, development and manufacturing process and Demcon's "quality by design" approach is a perfect match for NVision's innovative technology. POLARIS by NVision represents the first commercially available polarizer based on parahydrogen-induced polarization (PHIP), and we are looking forward to our next major milestone: delivery to our first customers in the US and Europe later this year. Many thanks to Lisa opt Hof, Amanda Merrick and Bram Hunnekens for this first look at the strong collaboration between NVision and Demcon! #video #bts #MRI #quantum #collaboration #POLARIS

🔬 A Peek into our R&D process - Lena Moeller, PhD “As the R&D manager of eNUVIO, I'm thrilled to give you a glimpse into our #ResearchAndDevelopment process. I can’t give away what we’re currently working on, but at the heart of the journey are the scientists of our global research community — their needs and insights drive our relentless pursuit of pushing the boundaries of possibility. Our journey begins with identifying the most pressing needs in the community. It’s the requests and feedback that decide what we’ll focus on next. Once we have a clear vision of what the community needs, our R&D team dives deep into scientific literature and latest manufacturing technologies. Countless hours are spent coming up with potential solutions, refining concepts, and rigorously testing every aspect. Sometimes it’s straightforward, but more often it’s an iterative process. Our journey doesn't end with the launch of a product. We love to hear about user experiences, and we continue improving our devices to make them even more impactful and easy to use. So, when you see our latest offerings, know that they are a result of team effort: the needs of the research community combined with the we’ll-figure-it-out-and-make-it-happen mentality of our R&D team. Together, we're shaping the future of scientific innovation. It's incredibly rewarding to witness the positive impact our collaborative efforts have on advancing research and driving meaningful change.” #RnD #Innovation #LabOnChip #Microfluidics #Science #Research #ScienceDrivenSolutions

Back when I researched nanotechnology at Penn State, nanoparticles were poised to revolutionize microelectronics enabling 3DHI on a singular chip and biofunctionalized NPs for diagnostic lab on chip technology among other applications. However, the R&D to commercialization gap hasn’t yet been bridged. Much of this can be attributed to problems with the casting, use of, and contamination from microfluidic channels. New innovations in bottom up nanofabrication could help break through this barrier. #nanotechnology #microfabrication
We're starting a "Nanotech-byte" blog where we share information and progress related to bottom-up manufacturing of nanoparticle based devices, condensed into a bite sized format! #nanotechnology #nanofabrication #semiconductor #microelectronics #photonics #MEMS #sensing #optics #biotechnology https://lnkd.in/e6GCCbj6
