In this video, my favorite racer, Alberto Tomba “La Bomba,” wins a slalom race in 1990 in Geilo, Norway, skiing without a helmet or face protection, amidst a cheering crowd on an unprepared and unsecured slope. 😱🤷🏻♂️ It’s fascinating to see how much has changed in the last 30 years in ski racing.
