We are looking for a talented and motived future Flywheeler to join our Asset Development Team as a Sr. Reservoir Engineer. We are embarking on an aggressive acquisition growth strategy, and this role will be a key contributor to that effort. The ideal candidate would be a Reservoir Engineer with 5-12 years of experience that is passionate about taking a leading role in Flywheel’s goal to grow through acquisitions. Although it is preferred to have A&D experience, it isn’t required. The candidate would have a strong foundation in ARIES, with diverse experiences including financial statement analysis, type curve/undeveloped workflows, reserves modeling, data structuring/management, and Spotfire analytics. More importantly, this individual will work well under pressure in a team-first setting and have a growth-mindset to develop their acquisition evaluation skillset. Experience working multiple basins, utilizing SQL or other coding languages, and/or working as other petroleum engineering disciplines would allow the candidate to add further value to the Flywheel Team. We are looking for a Geologist with a strong background in Basin Characterization.  Key initiatives for a Geologist at Flywheel would include Geologic support for Acquisition opportunities along with Asset Characterization and Development Planning for Flywheel’s Fayetteville Shale asset.  The ideal candidate would have experience working Acquisitions opportunities in a fast-paced environment, but also have the Growth-Mindset to add to their skillsets in Petrophysics, Geosteering/Well Planning, or Public Data Management.  Experience in the Anadarko and/or Eastern Arkoma Basin is preferred, but the role requires openness to flexing to new basins or areas as business needs require.    Proficiency in IHS Kingdom is preferred but not required.  Further, this position will play a key role in helping Flywheel work in accordance with its Core Behaviors: “Do the right thing.
