A recent report from FOLU, We Mean Business Coalition and WBCSD – World Business Council for Sustainable Development examined the costs of mitigating food sector emissions, and how they impact actors at different stages in the value chain. It found that achieving a 30% reduction in agricultural emissions could cost farmers as much as 17% of their annual revenues, compared to just 3% and 1% of revenues for traders and multinational companies respectively.
