When people define equity in education, they are essentially making a case for the underserved populations and the marginalized. In this case, marginalization and underservice is usually about access and reach. However, there is a dimension worth considering based on scientific facts; 👉 Take for instance children in an international school with the best facilities, however, they learn at different paces and their ability to understand concepts varies based on their cognitive load. 👉 In that scenario, wouldn't we consider the bottom pile of the class a marginalized lot in a way? They are taken though a system together with quick thinkers and whiz kids, giving them a tiny chance of being at par with peers. #Edtech solves this challenge by making sure that learning is personalized. With #DigitalPersonalizedLearning, we are sure that a child learns at their own pace, utilizing their strengths and overcoming proficiency deficiencies with less hassle. Whether EdTech is applied in the last mile populations, or in the opulent societies, it retains its magic of improving learning outcomes. #EducationForAll, #TechInEducation, #EsomaSolutions, #FutureOfLearning, #LearningScience, #LearningEngineering

Teachers lets embrace the future for our kids' sake: Digital Literacy is not just a skill, it's a necessity in today's rapidly evolving world! Let's empower ourselves and future generations by making digital literacy a cornerstone in every institution of learning. Learners should not leave school to only be exposed to educational technology at institutions of higher learning. For kids to be prepared, teachers must take the necessary skills development training if they are lacking those skills. Together, we build a foundation for success in the 21st century. #DigitalLiteracy #FutureSkills #EducationRevolution"

Traditional #education practices and learning models fail to meet most young people's social and emotional needs. The urgency to transform them is paramount as we confront a crisis of belonging and connection, reflected in the adolescent #mentalhealth crisis. Learning-centered ecosystems help disrupt the factors exacerbating this crisis, countering young people’s widespread disengagement with meaningful, equitable learning experiences co-created through community-wide efforts. The Ecosystems for the Future of Learning report, written by The History Co:Lab and Education Reimagined, highlights their impact on young people, citing the work of youth-serving organizations like Big Thought, Remake Learning, and SparkNC as examples of their transformative power. Explore it here: https://lnkd.in/e3n2rzpn #learninganddevelopment
Learner-centered ecosystems that extend beyond traditional school boundaries help embed #youngpeople in their communities, making education for them more inclusive, impactful, liberating, and supportive of belonging. Our 2023 Ecosystems of Learning Report, co-authored with Education Reimagined and funded by the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching, puts forth examples of the educational transformation made possible by youth-centered, community-connected learning ecosystems. Revisit the report to dive into them and explore what they can do: https://lnkd.in/e3n2rzpn #education #learninganddevelopment

In the heart of every #community is a #school - a place where futures are shaped, one student at a time. 💡 But what happens when that school shifts from traditional methods to innovative, project-based learning? The impact extends far beyond #classroom walls and creates a ripple effect that can revitalize entire #communities. 🌎 Introducing project-based learning into your #schools isn't just an upgrade to your #curriculum; it's an investment in the future of your #students and your community. 🌱 Here's how: 🔹 Engaged Students Become Active Citizens Students who are engaged in their #learning process are more likely to participate in community activities, bringing fresh ideas and energy to local challenges and campaigns. 🔹 Real-World Skills for a Thriving Economy By focusing on real-world problems, students develop skills that are directly applicable to the workforce, boosting local economies and opening new pathways for #innovation. 🔹 Cultivating a Culture of Lifelong Learning When schools become centers of curiosity and #creativity, they inspire not just students but entire families and communities to embrace learning as a lifelong journey. 📚 The question isn't whether we can afford to implement project-based learning; it's whether we can afford not to... The benefits extend far beyond improved test scores. They weave into the fabric of our communities to strengthen them from within. ✨ Ready to be at the forefront of change that will echo from your students and into the businesses, parks, and homes of your community?
