It was great to be in Boston proper last week, and no it wasn't to see my Celtics ☘️ ahead of the playoffs, although TD Garden was right around the corner. However, I still go to do something really exciting: attend our STAT Open Doors event to hear from industry experts about how GLP-1 treatments are transforming #healthcare.
After hearing from speakers who span across various verticals, it's clear that #GLP1 treatments can have a real impact on altering patient care pathways, reducing long-term costs, and improving patient outcomes on a macro scale. Our team (CC: Rita Glaze-Rowe) is focused on continuously evolving hypotheses and finding insights to help our clients diagnose, understand, and plan against seismic shifts like the GLP-1 market, because this space has far-reaching impact.
Innovation is in Real Chemistry's DNA — it’s what attracted me to the organization. From the very beginning to today, we've always been thinking ahead and trying to see around corners to anticipate what's on the horizon, and GLP-1 therapies will be no exception.
Last week on the Race Track I had the pleasure of meeting with the New Jersey Team. When in a race, especially in a team, you must be focused, fast and work together. Although racing against one another was fun, the message was clear.
🔍 #Focused: Our ultimate goal is to save more lives, and to achieve this, we must remain laser focused. Every action, every decision, and every moment must be dedicated to advancing our support, and our commitment to the hospitals, physicians and patients who rely on us.
🚀 #Fast: Speed is of the essence. We must deliver the best possible support to our physicians and hospitals with unmatched agility. Whether it's trainings, case supports, or cutting-edge innovations, we must move at the speed of life-saving. There's no time to waste when lives are on the line.
🤝 #Together: We are a #TEAM that shares and learns from each other. Together, we can achieve extraordinary things. Collaboration, communication, and unity are the pillars that support our quest to make a difference in saving lives. When we work as one, there's no limit to what we can accomplish.
Let's stay focused, move fast, and work together - because at Abiomed every heart counts. 💪🏥

2023 was a year of growth for TriMetrix and WRMA!
We had our most active proposal season yet and the results were gratifying. We’re excited by new projects and the renewal of existing contracts that advance our clients’ impactful initiatives. Here's a glimpse at some of the highlights as we reflect on this past year.
➡️Established a Master Service Agreement for consulting, marketing, and education services with the State of Nevada.
➡️Partnered with the Department of State to provide staffing support and assist with an international conference officers task order.
➡️Continued our partnership with the Department of Health and Human Services, Office of Child Care on the National Center on Subsidy Innovation and Accountability, a contract we’ve held since 2011.
➡️Launched the Early Childhood Workforce Connector through our contract with the Department of Labor, Office of Apprenticeship.
➡️Partnered with the Department of Health and Human Services, Administration for Community Living on an Adult Protective Services Opioids Study, and on its Older Americans Act Performance System (as a subcontractor to Radiant Technologies).
Cheers to a year of growth, collaboration, and making a difference! 🥂 You can learn more about what we do at https://lnkd.in/gZYHyg33.

"No One Does That..."
Hey Jeff, had a key insight last week during a meeting with Eric Williams, the COO that we work with from USPH and Daryl Gotwalt, our regional director.
Mike Gilbert and I were talking with Eric and Daryl. We were discussing specifically net rev per visit and how it's changed over the last four or five years when something Eric said struck me.
He mentioned how we initially presented a ten year plan and how rare it was in our industry. In fact, he said, nobody ever does that.
It made me realize, as practice owners, we often neglect a long term vision for immediate concerns in our practices, like retaining therapist or competing for can lead them to seek greener pastures where they can earn a few more dollars per hour, like with the local hospital system, et cetera.
Back in 2017, Mike and I had created a vision through 2030. That it painted a picture for where we wanted to be 12-13 years down the road, was not an exact how-to plan. We realized quickly there was no way that we could know every single step that we were about to take. It was more of a roadmap than anything else. A roadmap with key points that we wanted to achieve over the next twelve or 13 years.
For example, we aim to increase visits annually by 20%. This was inspired by Jim Collins 20 Mile March, the concept that he wrote about, and this kept us focused on what steps needed to be taken next when planning the growth strategy.
We didn't know exactly how it would pan out, but knew that if we opened another clinic, which happened to be our third clinic, or that we brought on more therapists, more clinicians, that these actions would help us take another step towards achieving our goals.
The benefit of such forward thinking is especially evident when hiring new professionals, entry level DPTs or therapists that are relatively early in their careers. And what we realized is if you can't show them potential career progression within the organization, then we're essentially telling them that they've reached their limit here, that they're going to be capped, that it's essentially a dead end leading them straight into. Essentially what we do is we train them for our competitors, who offer better options and frequently can offer career paths around long term growth.
However, by offering training and mentorship along with clear paths towards roles like the clinical director and that we have the clinical director training or even equity ownership positions, bringing them on as a partner over time, based on demonstrated competency levels, we create an environment where staff feel valued and see potential for long term growth within the organization.
