Today is Robin's 17th birthday! 🎂 At Robin, we believe in sticking to our values every day. To celebrate, I asked my amazing team one question: What's one word that describes working at Robin? 🤔 The big answer? "Freedom." 🕊️ But what does having freedom and working remotely really mean? It's not just about being flexible, it's about having control and trust. It's the freedom to pick your hours, plan your day your way, and be there for your family when they need you, like looking after sick kids during the day and working later. Working remotely also means less stress. No more getting stuck in traffic or rushing to reach the office on time. Instead, we get to start our day calmly at home, which helps us focus better and get more done. With nearly 8 years of experience here, I've seen firsthand how remote work lets us mix our personal and work lives smoothly, so we can do well in both areas. WOW! 3 years have come and gone in the blink of an eye. It feels like yesterday I jumped feet first into a role that I really didn’t know what to expect. Sure, I had been on the other end of recruiting calls and really didn’t love that part of the experience, to be honest… But, the pandemic had shifted things for me and I decided why not entertain a conversation... and I am SO grateful I did. What interested me most was my conversations with Kim, Laura, Beth, and Katelynn (among others). What they had shared they loved about their career in recruiting thus far just happened to align with a few core values important to me: ✨Connecting with people✨ ▫️ This was a large reason why I left public accounting in the first place, and something I had lost in my yoga/fitness/retail sales journey during the pandemic, and missed greatly. ✨Helping others✨ ▫️ Coming from an accounting background, this holds a special place for me in an effort to ‘match’ organizations with finance and accounting talent they can retain for years to come. From a candidate perspective, the ability to bring opportunities to the table they may not have even known about or that align with what is most important to them in their life today. ✨Emphasis on a team environment and focusing on long-term relationships (versus short-term gains)✨ ▫️ You win some, you lose some’ – one of my favorite quotes and it never feels good to ‘lose’, but with my background in teaching yoga it is an easy one to lean on when you focus on the big picture, focus on nurturing relationships, and focus on the idea that what you put out into the world will return itself to you in dividends. ▫️So for today - no job postings, no market insights, nothing to share here other than an appreciation for Truity Partners, my team, and to those I have had the good fortune to cross paths with along the way… THANK YOU for entertaining my cold calls, for laughing along with me in my voicemails, for getting honest on what's important to you, for your trust, and for so much more to come. 🎉 Celebrating a Milestone! 🎉 We are thrilled to celebrate Peter Hanzel‘s 20th anniversary with in our company! Over the past two decades, his dedication, expertise, and commitment have been crutial in our success. Thank you, Peter, for your remarkable contributions and unwavering loyalty. We are sure we have a lot of achievements and growth still together in front of us! Curious to know why Peter stayed with us for 20 years? Here is his answer😊 I can summarize it in 3 reasons - ordered by priority - 1. the team, 2. non-monotonous work, 3. option to choose my own path. The team makes you feel at work like on a friend event. Of course there are ups and downs, but even in downs team was there to help to get out of the ... it.  [😉]  The work was always interesting, sometimes more challenging, sometimes more annoying and of course sometimes a little monotonous as at any other work. What also helped a lot that most of my team leads have aIways acted as one of us.
