Anticipating the Vegan Women Summit on May 10th in Hollywood with great enthusiasm, I am reminded of a poignant phrase, "Hollywood is a Verb," captured from a postcard I picked up at the Broad Museum in Los Angeles last December. Indeed, it's time for us to transform Hollywood into a beacon of action. In my upcoming discourse, "The Future We Want to Eat," I will unveil insights into the quintessential role of feminine energy in nutrition and its transformative power to revolutionize our food systems for the better. This energy, inherently inclusive, interconnected, and preservative, is a force we share with friends, family, colleagues, and the broader communities we are part of, extending to our global network. Feeding ourselves and others embodies this profound feminine essence, urging us all, regardless of gender, to infuse these ancient energies into the global food systems that sustain societies worldwide. This is imperative not only for the preservation of our planet for future generations but also as a crucial consideration for those who may not look as far ahead. The adage "The future is female" is not about excluding men but rather about embracing a new paradigm of collaboration, responsibility, and contribution. The most immediate and accessible solution for everyone to contribute to this transformative journey is through adopting a plant-based diet. Every bite we take can be a step towards a more sustainable and equitable world. I eagerly await the opportunity to delve deeper into these themes with you, to share insights, and to foster a rich exchange of ideas and perspectives. Let us converge in HOLLYWOOD – transforming it into a verb, a symbol of action and change. T ogether, let's nourish the world into a better future. See you there – Let´s eat the world better!

I am honored for the opportunity to speak at this upcoming panel at the World Economic Forum at Davos, where we’ll focus on driving meaningful change toward health equity across the healthcare ecosystem and, specifically, how women are at the forefront of leading this change. As part of our EPIC pledge, we have made a public commitment to monitor pay equity, remove bias from hiring, create pay transparency, and achieve gender balance in management. The commitment to equity needs to be a collective commitment and continued dialogue and collaboration within our industry and beyond is key to ensuring all of us deliver on our shared goals.
