Here's a post I'd hoped never to have to make. After more than 2 amazing years at Slingshot Biosciences, my position (along with an unfortunate number of amazing coworkers) was eliminated in a #strategicreorganization. While still shocked about the #layoff, I  am intensely proud of what we accomplished against incredible odds. I could not have asked for a better environment to grow into my first commercial role and am so grateful to the many awesome people who made my time at Slingshot such a joy. I learned so much about #flowcytometry, #celltherapy, #biologics, #mRNAvaccines, #analyticaldevelopment, #startups, and most importantly how much I loved working with our many wonderful clients, collaborators, and friends. One skill I developed at Slingshot for situations like this is to take a deep breath, identify my goals, prioritize the next steps, and move forward. As such I’m now #opentowork and am looking for #sales, #businessdevelopment, #scientificaffairs, #applicationscience, or similar roles where I can use my #passion for flow cytometry, #immunology, and #science to support cutting-edge cures.
