#GarantGroup celebrates #WorldCreativity and #InnovationDay! 04|21 #WorldCreativity and #InnovationDay. The United Nations has declared 21 April as #WorldCreativity and #InnovationDay to highlight the role of creativity and innovation in all aspects of human development. Creativity is what makes the world go round. Everything that surrounds us is the result of creative minds thinking differently, challenging norms, taking risks and learning from trial and mistakes. There is no universal understanding of creativity. This concept can be interpreted from artistic expression to problem solving in the context of economic, social and sustainable development. The aim of this day is to remind and encourage people to use their creativity to make the world a better place and to make themselves better. 21 April, the day before Earth Day on 22 April, has been chosen as #WorldCreativity and #InnovationDay to highlight the importance of bold thinking in creating a dignified life for all on a sustainable planet. It is a date in time, a reason and an opportunity to use our imagination productively, to open our thinking and to enjoy it. #GarantGroup is celebrating this time by focusing on the environment and making the world a better place for its inhabitants, in the #DAROMKARTU campaign and sustainable change initiative. In a healthy environment, we challenge ourselves by choosing leisure activities that create healthy habits with #GARANTGROUPJUDA2024. Let's give ourselves the opportunity to use new ideas, make bold choices and make the world a better place. Everything you do can be a creative action! #GarantGroup #WorldCreativity #InnovationDay #DAROMKARTU #GARANTGROUPJUDA2024

It's been an action-packed last few days for us! We've had one eye on the Paralympic Games, where we have collaborated with RevSportz, co-created some wonderful stories of our Paralympians (more on this through separate posts in the days ahead) and organized a webinar, where we deliberated on a range of innovative financing solutions that we believe have the potential to turbocharge India's paralympic sport movement in the days ahead. With impact at the heart of all the work we do, we now switch our focus to Aspen Network of Development Entrepreneurs' annual conference in Bangkok next week, where Amrut Joshi will be moderating a panel discussion on the topic "𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗪𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲 & 𝗖𝗶𝗿𝗰𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗜𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀: 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗮 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗞𝗲𝗻𝘆𝗮". On the Panel are 2 eminent speakers: (1) Charlotte Badenoch, Principal, Africa Lead, KOIS Invest; and (2) Simmi Sareen, Co-Founder, Climake. This session will explore investment opportunities in the waste management and circular economy sectors, with perspectives from two diverse markets, India and Kenya. Simmi and Charlotte will present the findings of their research of the waste sector investment landscape in India and Kenya respectively, and explore the future growth pathways for Small and Growing Businesses (SGBs) in the waste and circular economy sectors. Over the last 6 months, we have been privileged to work with Simmi, Shravan Shankar, Aravind Kannan, Samyuktha Sivakumar and the team at Climake and assist them in developing the legal and regulatory sections of the landscape guides for the waste and circularity sector in India. This project has been supported by Aspen Network of Development Entrepreneurs and IKEA Foundation. We are looking forward to connecting with other ANDE members, make new friendships and build meaningful relationships during the course of the next week! #ANDE2024 #reportlaunch #circulareconomy #greenfinance #climateaction #India #Kenya ANDE South Asia | Devin Chesney | Sucharita Kamath (She/Her) | Ananya Saini | Lina María Cano Iriarte | Kate Clowes | Samheeta Rao | Mahit Anand | Saurav Gurjer

Dear connections, I am glad to announce that we have completed a great journey with Kordsa this week. It was an honour to join this 3-day Unistar Ideathon program focusing on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. Our world is still challenged by toxic organisational cultures and discriminatory policies. As my precious university education provided me with this motto of “We can change the world”, I believe we shall start now. On the first day of the Ideathon, I had a chance to meet with my counterparts across the world and learn how to integrate “inclusive language” into our daily conversation. Adapting such language by following the principles of D-E-I is essential to form psychologically safe working environments that foster the well-being and performance of people and move towards a more equal world. The second day was about “Design Thinking” and problem-solving, and it was an invaluable experience to learn business in action. I had a lot of fun brainstorming with my peers and creating projects that challenge our horizons, and inspire policymakers-leaders to shape policies around the values of DEI. We have finalised this DEI challenge as the second-best team, and we are proud of our work since we focused on a crucial topic rarely addressed on the market: psychological support and safety in cases of discrimination and non-inclusive behaviour. Beyond this, we had a lot of fun while working together, and I hope that we will be forerunners to integrate inclusive language into our workplaces. This was my first-ever ideathon experience, and as a person who loves challenges, I believe it shall not be the last. I would like to thank all the people who organized this program and connected brilliant minds. #inclusivelanguage #diversity #equity #ideathon

Hellenic Association Women in Culture and Tourism had the opportunity to participate in the Economist Impact's Seventh Sustainability Summit for SE Europe and the Mediterranean. During the summit, we had the honour to engage in a discussion with Christos Bouras, the esteemed rector of the University of Patras. We explored the exciting possibilities of the Memorandum of Understanding between #Hawct and the University, aiming to foster collaboration and innovation in the fields of culture, tourism, and sustainability. We still feel that many people in the Mass Participation industry view sustainability through the single lense of the environment and also see it as a cost rather than an important and valuable investment. As the industry continues to negotiate the headwinds that many industries are facing we are convinced that a well considered and articulated sustainability strategy is going to be crucial to survival and ongoing success. We are so excited to have partnered with Mike Laflin, CEO & Founder, Global Sustainable Sport and with his help to have assembled an incredible panel who will join us for Mass Participation World Conference in Vietnam to explore "What Does a Sustainable Mass Participation Industry Look Like?" Mike will be joined in conversation by Isabella Burczak, Cycling for All & Sustainability Manager, Union Cycliste Internationale, Kate Chapman, Head of Sustainability, London Marathon Events and Julia Cui, General Manager, CGX Management. The pre-recorded conversation will be guided by the seven sustainable pillars of sport that Mike has created: 👉 Partnerships 👉 Participation 👉 People 👉 Planet 👉 Power 👉 Profile 👉 Prosperity We would love to hear your thought on the topic in the comments below. MPW23 flags off from 7-9 December in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam under the banner of "Futureproofing from the Grassroots Up" It's not too late to register. DON'T MISS OUT. Speakers, program and registration through the link in the comments below. #mpw23 #mwp #sustainability #vietnam #grassroots #futureproofing

Despite living in multicultural societies, the culture sector remains homogenous and prone to maintaining the status quo, rather than promoting #genderequality, #diversity and #inclusion. Trans Europe Halles as an international member-based #network together with four #TransEuropeHalles members: IZOLYATSIA. Platform for cultural initiatives (Ukraine), Kunstencentrum VIERNULVIER (Belgium), Brunnenpassage (Austria) and Zo centro culture contemporanee (Italy) have made a #commitment to #diversify its governance, communications, staff, recruitment processes, production teams and audiences. This commitment is being implemented through the #CulturalTransformationMovement (or #CTM) project. 👉 In a beautiful city of Tartu (Estonia), 👉 at the annual spring gathering #TEHConference97, 👉 happening next week in between 30 May - 2 June 2024, the above-mentioned partners will come together (and kindly invite all the interested parties from the cultural sector) for a discussion "Are we ready for a transformation?", on Friday 31 May, to collectively reflect on their experiences and insights gained during the first year of the #CTM project which is a #CulturalTransformationMovement towards #SocialJustice. Cultural transformation is not merely a destination but a #journey that requires a willingness to embrace change and, guided by our own example, inspire similar efforts across the European cultural sector. Join us in #Tartu2024, and get motivated by the 5 guiding starts in #TEH #network incl. #TEH itself. ⏰ The tickets for the #TEHConference97 are on sale until Friday 24th of May! 🎟 https://lnkd.in/eqEuy6me The #CTM project is funded by the #CreativeEurope programme of the European Union and aims to transform the participating cultural organisations, so they include and reflect the full range of backgrounds and perspectives to be found in European society today. #ArtOfSurvival #TEHConference97 #TEHConference #Tartu2024 #CTMproject #CTMP #CulturalTransformationMovement

Skill Development for Change-Makers with Visual Coaching, Leadership Trainings, and Process Facilitation
Excited to share insights from our recent Boost Camp with tealbirds and Deutsche Stiftung für Engagement und Ehrenamt. Together with Armin Pialek, we delved into the power of participative processes in navigating the VUCA world. 🌍 At the heart of our endeavor stood a potent formula: Desired Change = Problem Understanding x Vision x Next Steps. Of one of the variables is = 0 desired change will not occur💡 Drawing inspiration from the awe-inspiring metamorphosis of Imago cells, we are not merely observers, but active architects of a future imbued with sustainability and innovation. 🦋 Our collective experience has unveiled valuable insights: - Experts need open exchange to develop new ideas - Facilitating the expertise in such spaces need participative processes - Collective crises need collective actions Eagerly anticipating the unfolding of the next chapter in our journey 🚀 . The Boost Camp is still open for applications, next one will be on #Sustainability #ChangeMakers #Collaboration #Innovation
