Automotive Fixed Operations Expert | Leadership Training Specialist | Helping Dealerships Improve Efficiency & Profitability | 20+ Years Industry Experience - I do all my own stunts
In a world of unknowns You can always be certain of 3 things 1. Your attitude 2. Your empathy 3. You gratefulness Keeping your mind well by maintaining a good attitude, even neutral, will prove beneficial as the days move along. Having empathy for others. Being able to understand anothers situation. The benefits far outweigh any negative. Lastly, practice gratefulness everyday. Make a list of 5 things each day. You'll be amazed at all the little things there are to be grateful for. In a business of transactions, take some time each day to step back and really see your team, your customers and yourself! (the pic is Saint and I watching the birds - grateful I eat more than seeds!)

Passionate about igniting possibility in individuals | CHRO Community Leader | Hosted 100+ events with CHRO's
Last night was different. I had the opportunity to cohost a dinner in Toronto with two powerful thought leaders - 📚 Michael Bungay Stanier and Chester Elton. The energy in the room was phenomenal and contagious. People stayed late and had a chance to really connect with their peers. Without going into details, I always like to share a few of my big takeaways: 1. People are suffering from loneliness. We often hear things like "I'm so connected, but lonely. Or, I have a thousand likes on my post, but no true / real friends." 2. Our happiness and success is largely driven by the quality of our working relationships. 3. Five questions to ask in Michael’s new book “How to Work with (Almost) Anyone” - Understanding when your colleagues shine and what they've learned from past relationships can help you amplify strengths and avoid pitfalls. - When do you shine and flow? - What are your practices and preferences? - What can you learn from past successful relationships? - What can you learn from past frustrating relationships? - How will we fix it when things go wrong? Thank you to the amazing individuals for joining us Elena Palumbo-Sergnese CTDP, Richard Pinnock, MBA, Dorena Erika Quinn, M.HRM, CDI.D, Marsha John-Greenwood MA CHRL, Alexandra Hyland, Laura Mably, Erin Gordon, Ella Baroyan, Diana Valler, CHRL, CHRP, Leah Pollock, Giovanna Surian, Leanne Joffre (CHRL), Sue Donnelly, M.Ed., CTDP, CEC, ACC, Eowynne Noble (She/Her), Veronica Amorena, Darcy Legros, Sotos Poulimenos, Mark Luceri, Darrell Zawada, Moses Berkowitz Amanda Holmes CHRL, MBA And thank you to Randstad Enterprise for continuing to support this amazing work!

This week, our incredible Regional Director and Chief Service Delivery Officer, Dana N. Combs-Fenwick, celebrated her 17 year work anniversary with Career TEAM and led the TEAM in a captivating training, "A Trauma-Informed Approach to Service Delivery." Dana's engaging storytelling shed light on the importance of empathy, urging our TEAMers to be supportive and attentive to the experiences of our VIPs. Together, Dana explored ways to make a positive impact daily. Key Training Takeaways: Shift the Narrative: Change the conversation from "What's wrong with you?" to "What has happened to you?" A simple yet powerful shift in perspective can foster understanding and connection. Trauma-Informed Care (TIC): By implementing TIC, we can create an environment that truly supports and uplifts. Shannon Gottke expressed, “Every last person has a story and if we can get to it, we can make a difference!” Provide Unwavering Support: By actively listening and responding with sensitivity, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve. VP of the Direct Services Division, Maxine C., shared, “Such a beautiful testament to the work that we are doing. Impacting the lives of people every single day. One person at a time. Thank you for sharing that powerful story with us Dana!” Let's continue to apply these invaluable insights and create a culture of empathy in our service delivery. Together we can make a positive impact and build stronger connections. #CareerTEAM #AllStaff #TraumaInformedCare #ServiceDelivery #EmpathyInAction

We are happy to celebrate Kaitlin Rebella's second anniversary working with Uncommon Bold! Kaitlin has been absolutely incredible at handling strategic communications and brand execution with our clients. Her work is consistently praised for its quality and her commitment to client satisfaction. We asked Kaitlin a few questions to reflect on her time at Uncommon Bold so far, and these were their responses: (1) What has been your favorite part of working at Uncommon Bold? - The team! I'm so thankful for this group of thoughtful, talented, strategic, and above all - kind - professionals. (2) What do you feel has been your biggest accomplishment thus far? - I have been so grateful for the opportunity to help our clients do big, ambitious, important and status quo-busting work. Whether it's breaking new ground in mental health treatments, shifting how people access and benefit from high value health care and social services, or driving health equity, I'm proud of the mission-driven work that prioritizes the social good. (3) What advice would you give yourself one year ago? - Trust the process. Creativity can be messy and slow, but giving space delivers better outcomes.
