🧬 Comm(on)unity for Vitali(a)ity: My Journey with Vitalia ⏪ (Retrospective) Over the past month, I had the incredible opportunity to be part of a unique community called Vitalia.city. This experience was not just about being in a group but about creating a true "Comm(on)unity" focused on developing projects to enhance vitality and longevity. At Vitalia, I had the opportunity of working on an on-going project for health data ownership on a co-working place shared with passionate individuals, each bringing their unique perspectives and expertise for the longevity field. I got the opportunity to participate in a startup acceleration program led by Niklas Anzinger and Pedro "Henrich" Azevedo, focused on preparing and empowering the founders to present their biotech and deeptech solutions to investors, and get their shot to see their project getting funded. One of the highlights of my time at Vitalia was to learn about the variety of solutions to increase human lifespan and more importantly (for me) healthspan. Being part of Vitalia has reinforced the importance of community in driving meaningful change. I am grateful for the connections I've made, the knowledge I've gained, and the inspiration I've found in this journey. 🚀 As I reflect on this experience, I am excited to continue applying what I've learned to my future endeavors and hope to be able to collaborate to push Preventive Medicine forward! 🚀 #Vitalia #Longevity #Healthspan #AccelerateLongevity #Medicine3.0

It's time for Health Tech Week! The 2nd Estonian Health Tech Week is taking place already from August 26th to 29th in beautiful City of Tallinn and City of Tartu 🇪🇪 Throughout the week, attendees will be able to explore the diversity and capabilities of the #Estonian e-Health, health tech, biotech, and healthcare ecosystem. Reflecting on the recent 🇨🇭 SWISS BIOTECH DAY 2024, I'm filled with gratitude for the dynamic exchange of ideas and the vibrant energy that characterized the event. It was a pleasure to reconnect with many familiar faces and equally exciting to meet new ones, each bringing unique insights and passion to the discussions. I look forward to next year’s event, hoping to see even more colleagues whom I missed this time around. The mix of reunions and fresh introductions made this year's gathering particularly memorable and enriching. A heartfelt thank you to Carlos Cabrera for our engaging discussions. Your deep insights and genuine enthusiasm for advancing biotech underscored the critical need for technical transparency and explainable expertise. It's refreshing to connect with someone who shares a profound commitment to transformative impacts in our field. Kudos to Ann Aerts for expertly moderating a pivotal discussion on how data, tech, and AI can reimagine health systems. Your guidance was instrumental in highlighting how these technologies can integrate into more efficient and effective healthcare solutions, ultimately building a foundation of trust. It was a pleasure to connect with Jade Sternberg and share in her passion for digital innovation. Jade, your vision for the next healthcare revolution is compelling and contagious. As we explore potential integrations of innovative solutions within healthcare, I am committed to making these concepts more tangible and understandable so that together, we can stride confidently into the future. Kitea Health awarded Trailblazer Arohia grant from Callaghan Innovation to drive its innovation program. Developing any deep tech company needs a serious investment in R&D, time, and team. You don’t know what you don’t know and we can all fall into the trap of thinking we are doing things that no one has ever done before. While this is often true for one’s product/service it sure helps to draw on the ecosystem of other MedTech companies. New Zealand’s MedTech scene is advancing rapidly and Kitea Health is really pleased to be awarded a major non-diluting investment through the Trailblazer Ārohia grant.
