Reposting because Day One said it well. September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Go Gold and prioritize work on pediatric cancer this month (and beyond). Whether you are deep in the basic science world in an academic center or developing drugs and biomarkers in biotech or big pharma, put kids first this month. Think about how your work may apply to/be expanded for pediatric malignancies. A shared biology, an indication expantion to an IND, an adult program that can serve children with cancer. Get creative and spend time prioritizing childhood cancer in September.
September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and we stand with and support the families facing a lifechanging diagnosis of childhood cancer. 43 children in the U.S. are diagnosed with cancer every day.
