George & Barbara Bush Foundation’s Post

Thank you to everyone who joined us at Texas A&M University to celebrate the life and legacy of President George H.W. Bush on what would’ve been his 100th birthday.   We heard heartwarming stories and inspirational lessons from people who worked alongside him and remember him fondly, including special guests and panel members Secretary Robert M. Gates, Jon Meacham and Jean Becker. We appreciate the Bush grandchildren sharing how they each carry on President Bush’s commitment to public service in their own way, and how the extended Bush family parachute jumped to honor his love of adventure. If you missed the panels or want to re-watch, visit our website at https://lnkd.in/ehJjjYdd.   Finally, a special shoutout to Robert Earl Keen, Lyle Lovett, Max Stalling and the Texas A&M Yell Leaders for their amazing performances.   Next time you’re in College Station, we invite you to visit the now open Marine One/4141 Locomotive Pavilion at the George H.W. Bush Presidential Library & Museum, where you can see the retired Marine One helicopter, Union Pacific 4141 Locomotive, and grab a bite to eat at Daisy’s Cafe. Happy centennial birthday, Mr. President. 🇺🇸   #41at100
