Essential for a child's healthy development.
It has been called a "forgotten right" (Art. 31 #UNCRC) ... but the Child's Right to Play is at the core of its being + cognitive, physical, creative, social and emotional development. So let's celebrate 11/6 International Day of Play and seriously promote the right. #childrensrights

Support worker and mother of two non-verbal autistic girls, Anastasia, has kindly shared with us one of the questions she gets asked the most - How do you communicate with someone who is non-verbal autistic? We absolutely love Anastasia's quote of 'being non-verbal and not being able to communicate are two different things!' - what an important message for us all to understand. We would love for you to have a read of Anastasia's response and let us know of your experience of communicating in different ways! https://lnkd.in/dHdKb2pp

Let's Get Playing! Celebrating the Power of Play on International Day of Play Today, on the International Day of Play, we celebrate the fundamental right of all children to play! Play isn't just about fun and games (although that's important too!). It's a critical part of a child's development, fostering: Cognitive skills: Problem-solving, creativity, and imagination soar through play. Social skills: Playgrounds become classrooms for communication, collaboration, and empathy. Physical development: Running, jumping, and building gross motor skills happen naturally through play. Emotional well-being: Play allows children to express themselves, manage stress, and build resilience. But what can we do? We all have a role to play (see what we did there? ) in championing children's right to play. Here are some ideas: Parents and caregivers: Put down the devices and dedicate time for unstructured play. Educators: Integrate playful learning activities into the classroom. Businesses: Support initiatives that create safe and accessible play spaces in communities. Everyone: Advocate for the importance of play! Share your stories and use #InternationalDayofPlay to raise awareness. Let's work together to ensure every child has the opportunity to play and reach their full potential. What are your favorite childhood play memories? Share them in the comments! #ChildrensRights #Development #Learning #Community #Fun

Belonging for a child is about survival. Yet as adults we continue to seek belonging. Our journey towards living with more authenticity and coherence is realizing that everyone belongs, no matter what anyone else says. Standing in our “adult” is balancing what we think, feel and say so that we dont betray ourselves. The greatest gift we can bring to the world is to shine our inner light, our true selves, no matter who may agree or disagree. @rootedhealings #familyconstellationtherapy #familyconstellationsonline #constelacionesfamiliares #cincinnatihealing #cincinnatienergyhealing #familyconstellations #healingjourney #systemicconstellations #systemiccoaching #cincinnatifamilyconstellations #systemichealing #coachingsistemico #systemictherapy #constelacionesfamiliaresonline #findyourvitality

"What’s wrong with you?" 🤨 How would you react if someone hit you with that in a conversation? For Kylie Moore, and many others with disabilities, this is an everyday thing. Would it leave you speechless? Angry? Sad? Or would you just laugh it off? For Kylie, humor is the answer! In her new miniseries, she covers some of the most ridiculous questions she gets asked. She’s here to make you laugh and help you learn a thing or two. #WhatsWrongWithYou #DisabilityAwareness #LaughAndLearn #QuestionsYouShouldntAsk #BDIEmpowers

Symbols and logos can be powerful, but only tell part of the story. They mean different things to different people. We encourage ambassadors and allies to show respect in whatever symbol you choose to use. 🧡♾️🧩What do you think? #AutismAcceptance #MakeItPersonal #AutismNJAmbassador #AutismAcceptanceMonth #AutismNJ https://lnkd.in/eiqgJfYU
