Yesterday marked my six-month anniversary since being promoted to Director of Business Development at Court Enforcement Services. Reflecting on my time in post so far fills me with immense pride and excitement for what lies ahead. In these past six months, our team has achieved remarkable feats together: - Enhanced Collaboration: We've implemented new ways of working collaboratively, which has benefitted both our team internally and our clients, who have recognised a more fluid service. - Empowering Team Members: It's been incredibly rewarding to witness team members not only stepping into their own and thriving in their roles, but absolutely flourishing. - Enhanced Service Levels: During this period, we've received some of the highest placement volumes of the year. However, alongside this we've also worked to reduce visit times and increase recovery rates. Notably, both monthly visit volumes and remittance values have increased for many clients, which shows the dedication of our Operations Team and their commitment to delivering industry-leading results. - Strengthened Client Relationships: Above all, we've deepened our relationships with both new and existing clients by demonstrating our unwavering commitment to being a professional, client focused and approachable High Court enforcement partner. I'm proud of what the first six months has brought, and with some really exciting projects already in the pipeline, I have no doubt that the remainder of this year will be filled with even more accomplishments, growth, and success..... watch this space 👀

To my recent 1-year anniversary 🍾 7 lessons that I've learned as an Account Manager: 1. Listen carefully before speaking. Not just try to hear to answer, but understand the concept. 2. Answering a little late is better than answering wrong. 3. Customers are people like me and you with their fears, concerns, and other emotions. Imagine yourself in the place of a client: what would you want? How would you want that to be given to You? 4. People do not come back to prices or titles. They come back to quality, satisfaction, and communication. 5. HOW you say something is just as important as WHAT you say. 6. Everything matters. Every little detail, tone of voice, opening and closing of the conversation, personalized approach, wordings, Everything matters. 7․ Trust and recognition are the game-changers. If you feel that you are not trusted, it's time to change something. P.S. Bonus one 😅 Always make notes!!!

Congratulations to Cleo Mellinger, Customer Solutions Manager, on her 10-year work anniversary! Learn more about her time with us below. ▪ What has motivated you to stay at the company for so many years?    The company has always been very supportive, with both the big things and the little things. Whether it's the emphasis on a work/life balance, the supportive individuals we have throughout the different teams, or the continued investment in me as an individual and professional. There are so many things that I could point back to, but I can honestly say that I feel blessed to have found WebstaurantStore and that I have been able to make a home here.     ▪ What roles and responsibilities have you held over the last 10 years?     I feel like I have dabbled in quite a bit over the years, but my passion has always been with Customer Solutions. I started with the company as a Customer Solutions Specialist in our Nevada office. In 2017, I moved into the role of Consultant with a focus on coaching and mentoring others within the department and acting as a liaison between CS and some of our Logistics teams. In 2018, I had the opportunity to lead my own team as a team lead. In 2021, as our department continued to grow, I had the opportunity to lead some of our team leads as a manager, which is where I find myself today.   ▪ What are some of the biggest changes you’ve seen within WebstaurantStore?    There have been so many adaptations throughout the last 10 years, but I would say the most impactful for me was when we shifted to full remote work. It felt like such a shift at the time, and I was admittedly nervous about how my team would handle the change and continue to thrive. I had so many questions about how the culture would survive without the office. But, as they always have, our team continued to prove the culture is the people, not the place. 

Celebrating my 2-year Anniversary as a Business Owner To say that time flies is an understatement. September marks two years for me as a small business owner. I am deeply grateful for all of those who continue to help me on this journey, and the many clients who have trusted me to serve their needs. I am joyfully celebrating the career I designed that plays to my strengths and honors my values. Here are some of the valuable lessons I learned along the way… 1.    Don’t take yourself too seriously – embrace humility. 2.    When you have a bad day, lift someone else up. 3.    Be an advocate for others. 4.    Be willing to ask for help and offer to help others. 5.    Your best laid plans will change – be ready to pivot and be resilient. 6.    Your value is not measured by the hours worked but the impact you make. 7.    Play is a connection to creativity. 8.    Rest is an investment in your wellbeing. 9.    Prioritize time to think, reflect, and dream – this unlocks energy, focus and productivity. 10. Take good care of your body – your life depends on it. Onwards to another year of personal and professional growth and a commitment to wellbeing, wisdom, and wonder!

You know when you're so busy and so much goodness is happening that you don't even have time to stop and celebrate? That's where I've been at. This quarter has been transformational for Captivate and like no other quarter we have seen in our still new story. I'm blown away by the amount of amazing projects we get to be a part of - connecting organizations to their customers and seeing this essential partnership thrive. Here are the some of the things that I think have brought us to where we are today: * The clients who keep putting their trust in us again and again. We see you and value you. I'm so humbled by this. Ongoing customer relationships are changing our business. * An amazing team who brings 100% to the table. I've seen team members grow in amazing ways as they are pushed in this startup environment. And sometimes we've also just gotten damn lucky with our hiring. 👈🏻 Truth. * Partners and ongoing supporters who love to collaborate - to explore what is going on in this space and how we can be more impactful together. Who love geeking out about the practice as much as we do. I love love love this aspect of my work. * Not being satisfied with the status quo. From day one of starting Captivate with Deena, we agreed we would be bored to tears if we ever felt like we were just doing what was standard for everyone else. We've tried to live this value in our branding, our strategy deliverables, customer program execution, and how we show up. It's not always easy, but it's rewarding. And also just keeps us from getting bored. 😂 All this to say THANK YOU to everyone who has been part of Captivate's journey. I truly, truly value every person who has been a part of it. Here's to year 5!

We are happy to celebrate Kaitlin Rebella's second anniversary working with Uncommon Bold! Kaitlin has been absolutely incredible at handling strategic communications and brand execution with our clients. Her work is consistently praised for its quality and her commitment to client satisfaction. We asked Kaitlin a few questions to reflect on her time at Uncommon Bold so far, and these were their responses: (1) What has been your favorite part of working at Uncommon Bold?  - The team! I'm so thankful for this group of thoughtful, talented, strategic, and above all - kind - professionals. (2) What do you feel has been your biggest accomplishment thus far?  - I have been so grateful for the opportunity to help our clients do big, ambitious, important and status quo-busting work. Whether it's breaking new ground in mental health treatments, shifting how people access and benefit from high value health care and social services, or driving health equity, I'm proud of the mission-driven work that prioritizes the social good. (3) What advice would you give yourself one year ago?  - Trust the process. Creativity can be messy and slow, but giving space delivers better outcomes.

We're closing out a sunny Summer Friday here at Relias after Debby Downer crashed through the state yesterday. At Relias, we celebrate Summer Fridays with half day Fridays for 7 weeks to allow our teams some much-deserved time to recharge and enjoy the summer as they choose. I spent mine today nerding out on research and annoying my colleagues with newly found data. Speaking of celebration, please join me in honoring a new round of Customer Obsession winners who go the extra mile to do what's right for our customers and our teams: Sarah Shotton, Stephanie Roberson, Patty S., and Dillon Rudio (MBA). We also closed the quarter with a new round of Quarterly Value Award Winners for those team members who embody our Relias values. Join me in celebrating: Daniel "Buddy" Martinez III (Data-Driven Decision-Making), Nat Marin Acevedo (Passion for the Mission), Annie Neese (Get Stuff Done), Melissa Dreisewerd (Thirst for Learning), and Christopher Reiling (Healthy Debate). I also had the joy of spending time with our department managers, as we do each month, on a unique leadership competency. Trust me, spending time together each month to grow our leadership skills is time well spent. We focused this month on Active Listening, because being fully present in the conversation with your teams isn't easy...the world is full of distractions.
