DON'T Share Inappropriate or Offensive Content Remember: Think Before You Share! In today's digital age, it's easy to get caught up in the moment and share something without thinking twice. But it's important to remember that our online actions have real-life consequences! When it comes to sharing content online, remember to: - Be respectful - Be considerate - Be kind DON'T share inappropriate or offensive content, including: - Hate speech - Discriminatory language - Explicit or suggestive material - Graphic violence or gore - Spam or scams Sharing inappropriate or offensive content can: - Hurt someone's feelings or reputation - Damage your relationships or reputation - Get you into trouble with authorities or platforms - Perpetuate harmful stereotypes or behaviors Let's all do our part to create a safer, more positive online community! #ThinkBeforeYouShare #BeKindOnline #ResponsibleSocialMedia #DigitalEtiquette #OnlineSafety

Here's a thought for media companies in light of the tsunami of AI-generated content and the predictable negative aftermath: 1. Create a "good housekeeping seal" of approval, pledge, commitment (whatever works), and place on every single piece of content that is original and generated by a human being (aka your editorial team) 2. Start showcasing your human editorial team as rockstars 3. Monetize the heck out of it Content generated by humans - and being able to verify that humans generated it - is going to become an even more valuable asset as consumers get sick of being fed shallow content that they know is not generated by a human. Google will have to give that content prominence since they are dealing with their own backlash with people conducting search results with "REDDIT" at the end to reveal content generated by humans, not bots. (Thank you Jacob Donnelly for a great AMO newsletter today on Synthetic Content). Personally, I would 1) pay for content that was critical for me to do my job knowing it was verified as human-created and/or 2) become a very loyal audience member to media entities that commit to this. Stop for a second before labeling any content as CRINGE. ✋ ◕That content wasn't even crafted for you. ◕You're not even the target audience for it. ➜If you were, then you wouldn't be offended—I'm sure. ◕Yet, you're taking offense at every other piece of content. Is there a serious brain problem?🤷 ➜Let's say there are 1 billion users on LinkedIn. ◕Every creator is targeting a different set of individuals. ◕And trust me, you're just one in a billion. ➜Don't be a judge if you haven't studied law.⚖️ Do you understand my point? ➜You keep criticizing their content from the comfort of your room, 🛌 ◕while they keep making strides for themselves. 🎰 ➜Get out of your little bubble. ◕It's time to wake up and start doing something for yourself. Chasing sunsets for likes until death do us ‘part. 💀 It’s true – lives have been claimed in the relentless pursuit of virality. It’s not all doom and gloom though, people. Going viral can still be a force for good. It’s not the tech, but how we use it. A few insights we, as an agency, have gathered along the way: 1. 𝗙𝗹𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗮𝗺𝗲 < 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝘄𝗲 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲 ↳ Always prioritize responsible, ethical content 2. 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗹𝘂𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 < 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 ↳ Our moral compass is more important than any algorithm 3. Posting is more like ghosting if you’re not posting at the right time! There are a couple of reasons for low engagement, and posting at the wrong time is one of them. I’ve heard a lot of people saying, “Posting times do not matter, post when it works best for you.” Well, I disagree with this! Why? - Does it even matter that you post at a time when your audience isn’t even active? When you post at the right time, you’ll probably get more likes and comments right away, and the algorithm will then push your content to non-followers! Take out time for posting instead of posting whenever you are free! Just a friendly reminder ~ I’m here to help!
