🎮 The Role of Esports in Modern Education: A New Frontier for Digital Learning 🎓 Esports isn't just about the act of playing video games competitively; it's shaping the future of education. It offers numerous benefits for educational and personal development, making it a valuable addition to modern education! Studies in the USA show that students involved in esports programs see a 1.7 GPA (Grade Point Average) increase and a 10% improvement in attendance. FOSI.org (Family Online Safety Institute) has taken a look at why this happens: -When integrating Esports programs with STEM education, it makes learning more engaging, practical, and future-focused -Students learn soft skills such as teamwork, communication, and strategic thinking, which are all skills needed for their different careers -These benefits stem from an open environment where students can connect with peers and mentors. One way we see this approach embraced in Asia currently is with Gen.G, a leading global esports organization. They have developed various initiatives that are “nurturing the next wave of gaming leaders”. They focus on establishing a robust collegiate network and integrate various academic ventures with esports including scholarships, academic training, and a 4-week long fellowship program. 📣 Reach out to us if you're interested in discussing an effective strategy for your brand to start incorporating game-based learning! 😄 #Esports #DigitalLearning #STEM #STEAM #EducationInnovation #AcademicSuccess

6moThis just feels so good to hear that after all the backlashes to the industry, finally the Eco System we work in is getting recognized and the world is gradually adapting it as normal profession and definitely, once an individual get's into gaming/ esports, it helps to boost confidence in individuals and develops a sense of self belief, which later on helps them in any work/ field/ profession they would step into and would play a very important role in making them successful in career and beyond!
