Yes!!! The difference between advocacy and activism: advocacy is a suggestion of changing and activism is the physical act of changing some thing. I graduated myself a few years ago to an "activist" because I was tired of people having discussions about the same thing without change.
Just start somewhere. It’s a journey, not a perfect plan.

1moOne of the key pillars of GDPR is Privacy by Design. I’d love to see the equivalent for transport, hospitality, town planning etc. with a key pillar being ‘Accessibility by Design’ By putting it front if mind, big improvements can be made at no extra cost. A recent example in my area of failure to do this is with a pavement being re-laid. For no extra cost, they could have put dropped kerbs in to make it accessible to cross the road. They did not bother (and this is a Lib Dem Council who put Disability at the heart of their recent election campaign) By having an ‘Accessibilty by Design’ approach would ensure situations like this do not continually repeat themselves…… and the world becomes so much easier for disabled people at zero extra cost.
