📢 FOA establishes its first European office
As part of our global campaign to combat online antisemitism, FOA is thrilled to announce the opening of our first European office in France.
This strategic move marks a significant milestone for our organization. It is a crucial step in our ongoing battle against the growing tide of online antisemitism.
France, home to Europe's largest Jewish community, has witnessed an alarming rise in antisemitic incidents, particularly since the events of October 7, 2023. This surge in blatant antisemitism and online harassment poses a severe threat to the safety and well-being of Jewish communities across the continent.
Our newly established branch aims to strengthen collaboration with European organizations dedicated to combating antisemitism. By joining forces with local and international partners, we can significantly enhance our efforts to monitor, report, and counteract antisemitic content on digital platforms.
The launch of our European branch will also allow us to work within the framework of the European Digital Services Act (DSA), which enables organizations like FOA to more effectively address and remove hate content online.
Through education, advocacy, and technological innovation, FOA France will dedicate its operations to ensuring that antisemitism has no place in the digital world.
By fostering strong alliances and sharing resources, we can make a significant impact in the fight against bigotry, hate, and intolerance.
