Community Spaces Network (formerly the Nonprofit Centers Network) is celebrating 20 years in 2024. Our rebrand represents a new chapter for us, one that is built on the foundation of our past work, and driven by our vision for the future of the social purpose real estate field. Our mission remains unchanged: to increase the capacity and effectiveness of the nonprofit sector and improve the communities they serve by supporting the development and ongoing operations of multi-tenant nonprofit centers and other quality community serving spaces.  Here's what you need to know about our rebrand: New Name, Logo, and Website: We will now be known as Community Spaces Network. Community is more than a place. It's about the lives we touch and the impact we make. Chairing the Punggol West Community Centre Management Committee... I have seen the power of community engagement. It creates a space where people feel supported, connected, and empowered. The impact? We nurture a sense of belonging and mutual support. From youth programs to initiatives for the elderly, our efforts are designed to make sure no one feels left out or behind. Why this matters... In a world that's increasingly digital. The human connection matters more than ever. Our work in the community is a reminder of the tangible difference we can make in each other's lives. Here's what I've learned... Every contribution, no matter how small, has the potential to spark change. Whether it's volunteering a few hours, participating in a clean-up, or simply lending an ear to someone in need, it all adds up. And the best part? The joy of seeing our community... Come together. TOMORROW MORNING (SATURDAY AUGUST 3RD) at 7:30 AM our amazing Who I Am Foundation volunteers in #Phoenix will be cleaning up the community once again! In honor of Kenny "Fanatic" Hogan, for this Community Clean-Up our volunteers, along with Bluprint Music Group, will be meeting up in the parking lot of Rodriguez Boxing Club, located at 1350 W Roosevelt St Phoenix, AZ 85007 NO OPEN-TOED SHOES Cleaning up loose trash is one of the best ways to pitch in for your community and the environment. Volunteering as a means to help conserve and protect the environment has a lot of upsides. Of course, the first is that you’ll be taking care of our planet, and it badly needs a little love given the myriad ways in which we’ve become adept at destroying it. But beyond that, volunteering for a cause you care about is a great way to meet like-minded people, make friends, and pull yourself out of the blues that sometimes accompany caring a lot about something important – especially if you feel alone in your endeavors. None of us like the sight of litter. Litter spoils the look of where we live but that’s not the only reason for picking up litter. There are a number of benefits from picking up litter that you may not have considered before. Volunteer-led projects such as these are one of the quickest, simplest, and least expensive ways to inspire more community spirit and civic action. A visually appealing community increases property values, attracts businesses, and improves the neighborhood's image. Beauty is one of the three most influential factors in community attachment, which means loyalty, to your particular town or city.
