Happy International Day of Education 📚 An extensive academic research study carried out (by University of Birmingham) in 2023 revealed that 14 to 15 year olds have a lack confidence in schools’ handling of issues surrounding #race and #religion. Less than half (47%) of the students surveyed agreed that the history of people from their #racial or #ethnic background is accurately taught in their school. 🌐 On International Day of Education 2024, I join other education experts and advocates to contribute to Cambridge university’s education reform article. 💡 I argued that in the age of a poly-crisis, we must turn to education for hope.
