There has been a lot of talk about tech in education. A few unicorns sprouted and raised millions of dollars too. But education is social and cultural. People learn from people. We learn by modeling. Nothing can replace the smiling, motivating, gentle friend who guides students on the path of learning. Technology can complement the learning process. However, without a culture of curiosity and inquisitiveness, technology cannot transform the learning process. Without these values, newer technologies like AI will not be able to enhance the process of discovery and exploration.
