One of our key focus areas is continually strengthening our value chain, which involves optimizing our supply chain. In this endeavour, we have noticed a significant increase in the availability of competitive packaging products from European suppliers. These suppliers excel in both price and quality, offering us a compelling reason to continue sourcing from Europe. Choosing goods manufactured in Europe typically leads to quicker delivery times than those sourced from Asia. This decision not only accelerates logistics but also diminishes the environmental impact of transportation. 🌱 #SustainableSourcing #Westpack #MadeInEurope

I help manufacturers build better: lower costs, higher efficiency, and on-time delivery. Any product, anywhere in the world. Global CEO.
We often speak to companies that are interested in moving manufacturing from China to Vietnam. Cindy Jin discussed this with one of our clients recently. Is it a good idea? Well... maybe. While the topic has been high on the list of manufacturers for the past 2 years, there are still a lot of questions. I wrote a blog earlier this year that gives an overview of the pros and cons. https://lnkd.in/eBKDuCvY What are your thoughts? Are you thinking of moving? Or have you already done so and, if so, are you happy with the results?

Our second Supply Chain Enlarge Europe Town Hall took place on July 16th. At the beginning we were glad to get Cristiano FIORIO as a guest speaker, who gave the outlook of the Alfa Romeo Premium brand, extremely exciting. The first half of the year is over and so was important to share the challenges and goals reached within the SC community. Among all: strong result on logistic cost containment (more than 25%!), creation of new control towers, increasing rail capacity by 50%, strong supply management and stock management (-40%) and much more to come!!!! Also was the opportunity to give an outlook on the second half of the year and the coming 2025 - to focus on our goals as well as our perspectives. Main part of our Town Hall was characterized by the presentation of our Want To Be, absolutely transformational and aligned with Stellantis Dare Forward 2030. Remi CABON shows us about the path to uniform processes and tools, about resilience and agility in execution and about CO2 compliance. Edouard GEORGE refers about the Data Centricity, forecast accuracy as well as the stock management. The department highlight for Brice DE ZUTTER is to build a robust IBT supply chain with strong processes to be prepared for the future challenges. Antoine REDIER introduces the SC EE Control tower team, as well as news from Drive4You. The last point of the departmental highlights was shown by Paolo NOCE with the new program competitiveness, the process optimization & digitalization and to design the best network for parts and vehicles. At the end, Yves CARACATZANIS summarized our successes and gave us the Global Guide Lines Special thanks to all speakers and my entire team to bring the first half of 2024 to success.
