TRU Precious Metals Corp. (TSXV:TRU) (“TRU” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce its intent to carry out an exploration program this spring and summer at its Golden Rose Project (“Golden Rose”) in Western-Central Newfoundland. Exploration will assess the critical minerals potential associated with the deposit-bearing Cape Ray – Valentine Lake Shear Zone and will be copper (“Cu”)-focused. The program will also investigate other critical minerals occurrences hosting nickel (“Ni”) and zinc (“Zn”), which have been identified in previous exploration activities carried out by the Company. The objective of the exploration program is to develop a deeper understanding of the overall critical minerals potential at Golden Rose, supplementing the heightened prospectivity of Golden Rose for gold. The program will include prospecting, grab (rock) sampling, reconnaissance soil sampling and trenching over interpreted critical minerals anomalies determined through previous work by the Company, historical data compilation, and recently acquired high resolution satellite and remote sensing data over the entire property. Many of the planned target areas have had limited exploration to date. https://lnkd.in/g-r4tfXQ #news #latest #TRU #precious #metals #copper #Gold

Great Southern Copper PLC (LSE:GSCU) (GSC) said it has completed scout drilling at Abundante with drilling now underway at Teresita.  Both prospects are within the company’s #Especularita copper/silver project in the coastal metallogenic belt of northern Chile. At Abundante, six reverse circulation (RC) holes were drilled for a total of 484 metres with copper visually identified in four holes. Assays have been sent for testing. Teresita’s RC programme will target high-grade #gold and copper mineralisation associated with quartz-carbonate vein-breccias. Sam Garrett, GSC chief executive, said: "Preliminary target-concept drilling is now completed for the Abundante mine prospect where the company is targeting high-grade copper associated with #tourmaline breccia. (AMX-V)   Amex reports up to 3.43% Cu, 34.00 g/t Ag, 1.80% Zn and 0.30 g/t Au over 20.80 m from QF Zone in metallurgical drill hole     On March 20, 2024, Amex announced assay results from a metallurgical hole drilled down dip in the QF Zone on the Perron Property. Recall on March 15, 2023 Amex had reported assay results from follow-up and expansion drillholes on the copper rich volcanogenic massive sulphide ('VMS') QF Zone (https://lnkd.in/gVqWvSkB). The QF Zone is located ~200 m to the NE of the Team Gold Zone and is a copper rich volcanic massive sulfide (VMS) body, which lies ~5 km from the past producing Normétal Mine (10.1 Mt of 2.24% Cu, 5.41% Zn, 0.53 g/t Au and 44.45 g/t Ag). Metallurgical hole PEX-23-189W1 reported 3.43% Cu, 34.00 g/t Ag, 1.80% Zn and 0.30 g/t Au over 20.80 m. A secondary mineralized lens also returned 1.19% Cu, 7.44 g/t Ag, 0.15% Zn and 0.11 g/t Au over 15.70 m. It is to be noted that the drill intercept is along drill axis N325 and is along the rake of the interpreted VMS Zone. Notably, the Perron Project is located ~120 km by paved highway from the Glencore Horne Smelter in Rouyn Noranda. Tennant Minerals has released its March 2024 Quarterly Report. #TMS has maintained its primary focus on the high-grade Bluebird #Copper #Gold discovery at its 100%-owned Barkly Project in the Northern Territory. The Bluebird discovery is one of the most significant discoveries of Tennant Creek style iron-oxide hosted Cu-Au mineralisation in over 20 years. During the Quarter, the Company released exceptional results from drilling conducted late in 2023, further demonstrating the continuity of high copper and gold grades at Bluebird. The Company also released highly promising results from early metallurgical test work, which indicate that high-grade copper and gold concentrates can be extracted from the mineralisation at Bluebird with high recoveries using industry-standard flotation and gravity techniques.
