#AfricaClimateSummit convened by African Union and hosted by the Government Of Kenya 🇰🇪 marks a monumental milestone as the Nairobi Declaration has been unanimously adopted with resounding acclamation! The collective commitment of different Heads of State and Goverments shines brightly focused on our vast potential and resources towards the mobilization and unification of African voices for a greener future. Over the past days, we have been reminded that the path to effective and enduring global climate action traverses through Africa. Developing countries, and particularly Africa, stand at the frontline of our response to the urgent issues of global warming, climate justice, climate adaptation, and mitigation, food security, and biodiversity conservation. Together, we will navigate the challenges ahead and ensure that Africa's voice is heard on the global stage. Let's continue to work hand in hand for a better tomorrow! 💪🏾 #AfricanUnion #ClimateAction #NairobiDeclaration #ACS23 #AfricaClimateSummit23 #africaclimateweek

Well done our Minister of Energy and mineral development Ruth Nankabirwa, we appreciate your efforts in the energy sector.
Last week on Friday, I officiated the launch of the Lake Victoria fuel transportation project - Double Hull product tanker with support from Mahathi Infra Services Pvt. Ltd. We continuously celebrate the unwavering investment that we have received from Mahathi as far as transportation and storage of petroleum products is concerned. Together with Mahathi, the country has made substantial progress in our fuel transportation and storage endeavors. Currently, Mahathi has the capacity to transport 90 million litres of petroleum products per month with the operation of 2 ships. They also have a storage capacity of up to 70 Million litres giving us an upper hands in terms of buffer stock considering the current policy through Uganda National Oil Company Limited (UNOC).
