𝗕𝗼𝗼𝘁𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗕𝟮𝗕 𝗦𝗮𝗮𝗦 𝘁𝗼 𝟳 𝗙𝗶𝗴𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝗥𝗥: This was the hardest decision I ever had to make… We had to change 90% of the team. And we had to do it while running the company. Burnout is hard. Stepping down is hard. Learning to delegate is hard. But letting people go has to be one of the hardest for me. This was one of the rock bottoms in involve.me’s journey. On a human level… It felt like I failed myself. It felt like I failed the team. From a restructuring point of view… It’s difficult to hire and realign new roles. It’s hard to maintain morale and productivity during such transitions. But in hindsight, it was the better decision for everyone. Because if people weren’t in their right roles, they wouldn’t be happy in the long term. Startup founders have to make the toughest decisions. It requires a different level of mental fortitude and resilience. I talk about more challenges in my full interview with Joran Hofman at Grow Your B2B SaaS Podcast: https://lnkd.in/gpKPG3ky #startups #strategy #artificialintelligence #marketing #sales

Vlad Gozman, thank you for sharing your experience and insights with us. Making tough decisions as a startup founder is never easy, but it's crucial for long-term success. Restructuring a team can be challenging, both on a personal and professional level. However, it's commendable that you prioritized the happiness and effectiveness of your team members by ensuring they were in the right roles. As you mentioned, learning to delegate and maintain morale during transitions are key factors that contribute to successful restructuring. It takes mental fortitude and resilience to navigate these challenges, but it's evident that you made the better decision for everyone involved. I'm sure many startup founders can relate to the difficulties you faced. It's inspiring to see how you've overcome these obstacles and continue to grow your B2B SaaS company.
