Fantastic, short article about the evolution of coaching. I have to admit, as much as I like all aspects of my job, coaching (and mentoring) is the most fun and rewarding. We often focus on the benefits of mentoring to the person being mentored, but I often find that I learn something new from most of the people I coach or mentor. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing the light in someone's eyes when they figure out how themselves to solve a challenging problem that leads to a fantastic result.
