A new report from Bitwise has estimated the size of the #Ethereum ETF market. The report states that Bitwise expects the size of the Ethereum #ETF market to be proportional to the relative market caps of #Bitcoin and Ethereum. The report also notes that it expects the market to reach this size in 18 months. Prospective issuers’ latest S1 filings indicate they expect to be approved for listing in the first week of July. This week, the Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM) has approved a Solana-based exchange-traded fund (ETF). It is the first product of its kind in Brazil and among the first Solana-based exchange-traded products (ETPs) globally. The first was launched by Swiss-based investment product provider 21Shares on the SIX Swiss Exchange back in June 2021. #Fidelity Files for Spot #Ethereum #ETF, Says Approval Would Be 'Major Win' For US Investors. Following rival firm #Blackrock, asset management giant Fidelity has also filed for a spot ether ETF. The filing reveals that the ‘Fidelity Ethereum Fund’ would be listed by an exchange owned by Cboe Global Markets if approved. Is a Solana ETF on the horizon? 🚀 A Solana ETF could boost the token's market influence. On Friday, VanEck and 21Shares filed for a spot Solana ETF. With rising interest, Solana's social volume spiked. However, a Solana ETF approval depends on changes in the SEC which in turn might depend on the White House post-November elections. A key obstacle is the lack of Solana futures in the US. Also, SOL’s futures volume on international exchanges doesn't meet SEC requirements. Analysts believe Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs set a pattern.
