Do you have a USRAP Priority Program referral P1/P2? Are you wondering why it is taking so long to process the referral? Please visit the resource tab on WRAPSNET website to read the FY 2024 Report to Congress and learn about the admissions procedures, who across the world competes for one of the 125,000 allocations America authorized, and to view the statistics of the ceiling per region and projected arrivals. This 71-page document https://lnkd.in/g5CSGxtM will answer some of your questions. Also, on this resource page one can find the contact information for the seven Resettlement Support Centers (RSC) around the world. If your case has been assigned to one of these RSCs please ensure your contact information with the RSC is valid. To update your contact information please email the RSC. We have no idea how long it takes from the time your referral is submitted to the time it takes to be assigned to a RSC or the time it takes to be processed/interviewed/completed. Some reports say 3 years and others say 17 years. Each case is different and unique. What we do know is that State's Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration (PRM) sends an email with a Google Form in it to the one being referred. Look for this! Ensure you fill the PRM Google Form. Resources — Refugee Processing Center (wrapsnet.org)

Reflecting on a Year of Impact: RAA's 2023 Annual Report At Refugee Assistance Alliance, sharing our annual Impact Highlights is a moment of true connection and reflection for our team. It's a time when we get to see the fruits of our collective labor, the tangible impacts of our work, and the strength of our community spirit. This year has been a testament to the resilience of families rebuilding their lives, the kindness of our volunteers, and the strength of our partnerships with local businesses. We've been hands-on, providing critical services to nearly 200 refugee families, including everything from job support to everyday essentials like food stamps and tackling loneliness. We've made English lessons accessible, secured jobs, and fostered a sense of belonging — all while keeping things real and grounded in the daily lives of those we serve. But the work doesn't stop here. Our report lays out a path for even greater impact in the coming year, focusing on upskilling, community support, and expanding our reach. Join us in celebrating these milestones and contributing to the journey ahead. Read more about our achievements and the road forward in our latest annual report. #annualreports #communityimpact #refugeesupport #socialgood https://lnkd.in/eZhpwQXp

Executive Director Dollani Program | Re-building Syria through economic empowerment | Empowering Syrian youth, young professionals and entrepreneurs through technical and vocational training.
Today, on World Refugee Day, we pause to recognize the strength, resilience, and courage of refugees worldwide, especially our Syrian brothers and sisters. The Syrian refugee crisis remains one of the most significant humanitarian challenges of our time, with millions displaced and in search of safety, stability, and hope.As we reflect on their journeys, we must remember that behind every statistic is a human story filled with loss, perseverance, and dreams for a brighter future. These individuals are not just refugees; they are doctors, engineers, teachers, and students – people with immense potential and unwavering spirit. At Dollani Bootcamp - مخيم دُلني التدريبي , we are dedicated to empowering Syrian refugees by providing access to technical education, and remote work opportunities. Through our initiatives, we aim to restore hope and build a sustainable future for these incredible individuals.Today, let's commit to standing with refugees and advocating for policies that protect their rights and dignity. Together, we can create a world where refugees are not just surviving but thriving. #WorldRefugeeDay #WithRefugees #SyrianRefugees #Empowerment #Hope
