Emil Yeargin Monique Jackson, MBA can I ask, as a transgender person, why Gusto is using sex language to represent gender in the snapshot, and why your gender metrics in the report are exclusively binary, in 2023? While I can appreciate the focus on race and gender, using the phrase 'intersectional' while only evaluating two dimensions of marginalization (and excluding the objectively most marginalized gender group) feels off for a comprehensive DEI report. This raises a red flag for anyone in my community re: the general and intersectional informedness of your DEI efforts. I can't imagine what transgender people within the organization must feel in their fundamental exclusion from your DEI report.
