An epically detailed illustration on the subject of climate change, created for The Economist Educational Foundation The illustration is the basis of one activity within a 1-hour free lesson about Eco-anxiety, intended for students aged 10-16. Depicting a purposely busy place, there are many references to spot - climate change indicators, and the ways information, news, or messaging relating to the climate/climate change may be encountered everyday. There are at least 25 things to spot - How many can you find? See more about the project on my website > https://bit.ly/3ObWjWW - which includes links to the full Eco-anxiety resource and a wide range of other lessons in the The Economist Educational Foundation's Topical Talk Teaching Resource Library TEACHERS - You can directly access the Eco-anxiety lesson here > https://lnkd.in/eWZkm4zQ With thanks to Katie Campbell for the commission, and Stacey Broadbear for your referral 😊 #climatechange #ecoanxiety #illustration

Our education systems are too individualistic and often fail to focus on more systemic forms of action. 51% of lower secondary educated adults agree that climate change will cause future harm, but only 33% believe it will cause them personal harm. To truly inspire meaningful climate action, emotions and collective action should be at the core of #GreeningEducation. 🍃 #LearnForOurPlanet with #GEMReport and #MECCE: https://bit.ly/ccec2024
