Fishing for your Tuna In his podcast, Dean Graziosi beautifully narrates this story of finding your Tuna ( metaphor for your clients). You should watch it. It's on You tube. It's so true that we are all in search for Tuna. However, how many are ready to be prepared for Tuna with the right information and tools to hold them when you find them. Sadly, we go unprepared for Tuna in the vast sea hoping to find Tuna at a spot we feel convenient to dock. There is a simple rule for marketing, be where your client is. As professionals we need to find out what do they appreciate? what will benefit them? What can we offer them that will draw them close to us? And mind you, money is not the only deal sweetener. Focus on the value offering too. Also, if you are in a small boat currently, would it be a good idea to search for big fish? You require proper infrastructure for big fish. Your content must be strong, you must be able to deliver at deeper levels and provide quantifiable results. In short, when you go fishing for clients, first of all do your homework.
