A Great Product Marketer is… A Talented Communicator Strong product marketing candidates already have the full range of communications tools. They can write to various audiences in different styles (ask for writing samples!). They can persuade using reason, emotions, or a combination. They can speak articulately one-on-one, in meetings, and as presenters to larger groups. And very importantly, they ask great questions to help steer executive-level conversations in productive directions
