🚨 Railways to bring down speed of Vande Bharat and Gatiman from 160 to 130 km/h. This is being done due to safety measures, and train tracks are unfit for such high speed. I don’t understand, what’s the point of running high-speed and premium trains? The article has the list of trains which are likely to be affected. Indian Railways badly needs to upgrade tracks and overhaul infrastructure. Launching new Vande Bharat and premium trains won’t help if the speed is not good.
