Giving thanks is a habit.

Take a few minutes today to think about those leaders that have inspired you to be great and what you learned from them.

Suffering; whereby we obsess about ourselves and the amount of stress or pain or discomfort we may be experiencing. I've certainly found that changing my state really helps me move more into a place of gratitude and away from negative cycles. Positive thinking will be useless if you do not match up with your intrinsic emotional state! I can think the world is wonderful but if I'm miserable, then no amount of convincing is really going to see anyone buy what I'm saying! Change Your State. Some great ways to do it: - Take a COLD shower! - MOVE YOUR BODY! - ...laugh! What do all these things have in common? They release feel good chemicals into your body! They put you in a better state! When you're in a better state, you'll move closer to a better mindset, when you're in a better mind set, you stand a better chance of making a good decision. Good decisions open doors that lead to Great outcomes! I was skeptical until I tried it- properly! Excellent point! These days, I am actually a bit surprised when I meet a manager, Scrum Master, or project manager, that knows what a critical path is. I am even more surprised if they know what a critical chain is, and the difference between the two. It shouldn't be that way. Consider, if something this basic is missing, what else is missing? On the upside, I do meet developers who know the terms, from time to time.
