Our latest brief explores preschool curriculum use and how often children are exposed to their home language and culture, based on a 2010 national teacher survey. Key findings include: ➡ Significant differences in curriculum adoption by auspice (Head Start, public, and private). ➡ Many teachers use no formal curriculum or a locally developed one. ➡ Teacher language proficiency is a key to providing home language and cultural experiences.
