'Imagine a world where every message, every campaign, resonates harmoniously with your purpose. A world where competing team objectives are not barriers, but rather catalysts for unified action' Thanks to everyone who shared their experiences of integration in the charity sector with Charley Day-Lennon and I for The Kite Factory's latest white paper. So much has been written about WHY to align across silos - but not so much on the HOW - so we've laid out the steps to follow - no matter where your organisation is on the integration spectrum! https://lnkd.in/ecG3der6

This holiday season, I want to encourage others to think about giving back to those in need. Several years ago, my family decided to shift our holiday traditions. We realized we had been blessed with everything we needed, and buying gifts just for the sake of filling the space under the tree didn’t feel right anymore. Too often, those gifts are quickly forgotten, tucked away, or even sold online. Instead, we chose to give in a different way. Each year, we make donations to organizations on behalf of our loved ones. It’s a way to spread joy and help those who need it most. Even if you can’t donate to the same organizations we do, I encourage you to find something local or meaningful to you and your family. The truth is, many people are facing challenges this year. You might feel like you’re “tightening your belt,” but remember, some don’t even have belts to tighten. If you inquire locally, you’ll often find that what’s needed most are the basics—socks, laundry detergent, body wash. These simple items can make a huge difference in someone’s life. Every small act of generosity leaves a lasting impact. And I promise, the feeling of helping someone in need far outweighs the fleeting joy of unwrapping another gift. Let’s make this season about giving in the truest sense of the word.
As part of EOS Investors LLC's ongoing efforts to give back to the community, we are participating in Women In Need, Inc. (Win)'s 2024 Holiday Gift Program. This is a wonderful opportunity to spread joy and make a meaningful impact during the holiday season! I'm sharing our team page in hopes of spreading the word. Whether it’s a small toy, game, stuffed animal, every donation makes a difference! Your generosity will help brighten the holidays for families who might be struggling during this time of year. Thank you & Happy Holidays!! https://lnkd.in/ey5jJ3Zg

To secure funding, you don't have to disguise your work in the trappings of white supremacy. Instead, your fundraising efforts should proudly highlight your community's authentic culture, language, and dialect and your advocacy for systemic change. Authentic representation strengthens your message and builds trust and credibility with potential supporters. Highlight your community's culture and advocacy in your fundraising efforts by: ▶️ Sharing real stories from community members that reflect their experiences, challenges, and triumphs ▶️ Clearly articulating how your organization works towards systemic change and addressing why it matters ▶️ Designing culturally relevant development campaigns that resonate deeply with your community When we embrace our unique cultural identities, we create compelling narratives that resonate with funders who share our vision for equity and justice. #StrategicDisruption #Fundraising #FundraisingStrategies #GrantWriting #Funding #NonProfitFunding
