As Kenyans, let's make it our duty to ensure that every child has access to education. According to UNICEF, approximately 1.13 million children of primary school age (6 to 13 years old) aren’t in school across the country. This alarming statistic is driven by factors such as peer pressure, nomadic lifestyles, teenage pregnancies, early marriages, and problems at home, which sometimes force children into child labor to help their families make ends meet.
The Kenyan 2010 Constitution, Article 43.1.f, guarantees everyone the right to education. Yet, these children remain deprived of this fundamental right.
#ArtforChildrenFoundation, believe and advocate that every child deserves the opportunity to learn and grow in a safe environment. It’s time for us to come together and ensure that no child is left behind.
Let's collaborate, support, and create programs that address these barriers to education. Together, we can build a brighter future for our children and our nation.
