Today's Director General session explores common challenges and best practices related to ICAO Annex 9 - Facilitation matters across the European national aviation systems. Six regulatory inspectors from the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) have successfully completed advanced aviation training in the UK, funded by the British Government. This training initiative, led by DGCAA Nadir Shafi Dar and in partnership with the British Department for Transport (DFT), focused on essential areas such as regulatory oversight, security, cargo handling, and various airport operations. The inspectors gained practical experience at multiple UK airports, learning about sophisticated regulatory systems and operational practices. DGCAA Dar highlighted that this initiative aims to equip CAA inspectors with the necessary skills to meet international aviation standards, ultimately strengthening Pakistan’s aviation sector and enhancing its global competitiveness. #AviationTraining #PakistanCAA #InternationalStandards #AviationSafety
