High Watch Recovery Center’s Post

On June 19th, we wholeheartedly celebrate Juneteenth, also known as Freedom Day or Emancipation Day. It's a day to honor the emancipation of enslaved African Americans in the United States, signifying the liberation of those who had been enslaved. Juneteenth is a day to reflect, educate, and celebrate African American culture and heritage.
