One of the major challenges faced by Black and Diverse-Owned media is proving their identity to secure advertising spend. Isn't that something? Unfortunately, some bad actors have taken advantage of DEI budgets, making it necessary for businesses to obtain certifications, just to be considered. Agencies like the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDCHQ) help in this process, but it can time consuming and costly for small businesses. Black media serves a vital purpose in the media eco-system, but their growth is stunted without a bigger slice of the advertising pie. We must employ new solutions to eliminate barriers and help uplift these publishers. #ThisIsWork #UpliftByMediavine Mediavine
