The Lula oil field off the coast of Brazil is one of the largest oil discoveries in recent years. The oil is produced using FPSO (Floating Production Storage and Offloading) platforms. In 2013, EagleBurgmann set a new standard with its PDGS seal on the Tupi 4 production platform. The gas-lubricated mechanical seal was designed for the highest static pressure ever certified for ultra-high pressure gas reinjection. The last inspection showed: All of them still exhibit top performance values. 🎖 Remarkable accomplishment for the Ocean BlackRhino! After achieving 518 days in operation, the Hydril® Compact BOP stack has now been proactively brought back on deck for its 5-year recertification!       Our stack, bolstered by our comprehensive CSA program, and strong collaboration with Diamond Offshore and Woodside Energy, has delivered stellar performance throughout the past 17 months. Not only has it achieved an extraordinary 436 consecutive days subsea, but it has also completed 15 well hops.  This accomplishment highlights the exceptional reliability and quality of HMH products and services.     This success story is also a reflection of Diamond Offshore's robust risk assessment tools and processes, all while maintaining regulatory compliance. Woodside Energy’s close partnership has been instrumental in this endeavor, showcasing the power of collaboration in achieving operational excellence.      Traditionally, leaving a BOP stack subsea for 365 days was considered a significant success. However, through collaborative efforts between the Operator, Drilling Contractor, and OEM, we have harnessed the power of real-time data streaming (HMH SeaLytics®), live analytics (Stack-View™ Service provided by Diamond Offshore in partnership with MR Deepwater Subsea), and digital twin capabilities (Sim-Stack® Service provided by Diamond Offshore in partnership with BRMS – BOP Risk Mitigation Services) to overcome these previously perceived limitations. Another fantastic solution from the Expro team in Middle East to deliver production testing solution with such a small footprint that I felt I should circle the equipment on the picture. Expro clamp on meter solution on the left hand side combined with Expro Multitrace/mini-separator on the right handside provide instant 3 phases measurements. With this solution, we significantly reduce the carbon footprint of conducting production testing measurents against using conventional separator and unlike conventional MPFM, we don't need PVT data ahead of operation. kudos to the Expro MENA & Well Flow Management teams! Dear Colleagues and Connections,   We will be attending #IPETGAS 2023 event this week as TP-OTC Deepwater Operations Team and will have 11 presentations during the Congress. My team prepared fascinating presentations pertaining to our operations which I would like to invite all of you.   Our first session will be held on Thursday 28th of September, focusing on deepwater riserless operations; starting with Top Hole Design Considerations by Amit Sankhe and Dual Derrick Operations in UWD Operations by Evren Bektas. Jetting Operations/Bit Stick-out Effect will be presented by Oğuzhan KAYLAN and will end this session with Yasin Demiralp's study on BOP Reliability in our operations.   Second session will be held on Friday Morning, mainly on lower completion and gravel pack operations; we made a lot of optimization and time saving through out the project, one of them, BOP Hopping Between Wells, will be presented by Yasin Demiralp, general view to Cased Hole Gravel Pack by Bekir Ogulcan Bulut, then First 4 Zone MSGP by Eren Emre GEÇER. Our last presentation in this session will be a specific subject of Tackling Fluid Loss and how we optimized this problem by Carlos Domingos.   In our third session, we will touch on upper completion operations; starting with brief Well Construction presentation by Atilla Mazman then catchy title of Multi-Zone Smart Completions in DW by Nuno Carvalho, and the final one will be the Major Improvements Done During Project by Alparslan Konbul.   Unfortunately presentations will be limited with 15 min, but we would like to share our +50 wells experience with all O&G professionals. #ipetgas #deepwater #jetting #dualderrick #bophopping #gravelpack #tacklingfluidloss #smartcompletion

Recently, FourPhase, completed a jetting operation of a production separator on the Aker BP-operated Alvheim production vessel (FPSO). The project marks the first time Aker BP has utilised a temporary jetting unit to remove solids on Alvheim. For this, FourPhase deployed its state-of-the-art stand-alone SingleFlow jetting unit to remove solids from the separator. In less than a week Aker BP was able to empty the production separator. BiSN eliminates gas-cut from shallow gas for supermajor during multi-well Plug & Abandonment campaign in the UK North Sea! Recently BiSN set a series of Wel-lok™ plugs to stem the flow of gas to surface allowing for the wells to be permanently abandoned in a safe condition. During the campaign, previously unidentified shallow gas was encountered, resulting in continual gas-cut of the cement environmental barriers and leaks to surface. Remediation with traditional cement was difficult in such conditions due to the low temperatures. The only technology that was deemed suitable to create a gas tight barrier was BiSN’s Wel-lok™ technology. 🔨 THOR can not only help increase the production level of your heavy oil well and add to the recoverable reserve profile of the play, the technology is also friendly towards ancillary equipment – including pumps.
