Hobbs+Black Architects is proud to have designed Woodview Commons, a new all-electric rental community in Scio Township. Aligning with Ann Arbor's zero-carbon initiative, the 218-unit community eliminates natural gas use and prioritizes sustainability by preserving 25 acres of natural habitat, including walking trails and a blue heron rookery. Residents enjoy amenities like a resort-style pool, fitness center, co-working spaces, and EV charging stations. "The proximity to vibrant Ann Arbor is an asset, but Woodview Commons and the natural beauty in the area provide residents a quiet home and a true retreat at the same time. Woodview Commons is the ideal choice for those who prioritize a blend of modern living, convenience, and environmental stewardship." – Nate Forbes. Partnerships aren't just paperwork. Success isn't just strategy. Teams aren't just org charts. Here's what I've learned about building something real: The best partnerships? They're built on trust, not just terms. Like knowing someone's got your back when things get rough. Like texts that say "We'll figure this out." That's why we're fired up to partner with BCC on Cadre Townhomes. Real partnerships. Real trust. Real results. Strong teams aren't about perfect people. They're about perfect fit. It's about: • Having each other's blind spots • Celebrating wins like they're your own • Showing up when it matters most Some folks chase talent. I chase character. Because skills can be taught. But heart? That comes ready-made. Buck up and choose wisely. Your team isn't just who you work with. They're who you build with. Who's in your corner? Who’s on your team? Who’s your key partner?
The Cadre Townhomes project in Salt Lake City aims to provide modern, high-quality townhomes to meet local housing demand and revitalize the neighborhood. The initiative focuses on style, comfort, and functionality, emphasizing collaboration with skilled trade partners to ensure high construction standards. The goal is to create a vibrant, sustainable community that enhances residents' quality of life and contributes to the city's development. We are pleased to announce that 1-3 Westbourne Grove has officially received planning approval. Concilio supported Valouran with the community engagement, working closely with local resients, businesses, and stakeholders to ensure that the development reflect the needs of the community. Through a series of public consultations, feedback sessions, and constructive discussions, we gathered valuable insights that have directly influenced the design and vision of 1-3 Westbourne Grove. Valouran's vision for 1-3 Westbourne Grove involves retaining and enhancing the existing facade, while constructing a new building behind it with combined floorplates, including a pub on the ground and basement levels, and high-quality residential units above. Additionally, they plan to deliver public realm improvements and incorporate environmental sustainability features into the refurbishment to enhance the local area. Wondering if it’s time to redevelop your building? Here are a few signs to look out for: ✅ Structural Issues: If your building has been around for a while, regular structural audits are key. Don’t wait for cracks to turn into bigger problems—take action before it’s too late. ✅ Community Sentiment: When most residents start feeling that their living conditions could use an upgrade, it’s a clear sign to explore redevelopment. ✅ Personal Reasons: Sometimes, it’s just about what you and your family need—a little more space, better amenities, or a home that matches your aspirations. Redevelopment is more than construction; it’s about creating a space that feels right for everyone. #redevelopment #dreamsredeveloped #SignsToRedevelop
