As most of us knock off for the weekend, the City of Perth’s parks maintenance team will be busy keeping our city sparkling. 🌳 The team are on the ground seven days a week to ensure our 120 hectares of green spaces stay pristine, safe, and ready for our residents and visitors to enjoy. Their days are busy – collecting rubbish, emptying bins, cleaning barbecues, mowing lawns, pruning trees, and maintaining gardens. Wellington Square, in particular, gets extra attention, with rubbish picked up twice a day and regular safety checks to keep the play space clean and hazard-free. It’s a big job, but the team loves seeing their hard work pay off, especially when the parks are buzzing with people enjoying the space. And while they’re dedicated to keeping things looking great, we can all do our part by cleaning up after ourselves and reporting any issues through the Snap Send Solve mobile application: https://lnkd.in/gDjeZNiv. Next time you’re in one of our parks, take a moment to appreciate the hard work that goes into keeping them looking their best!
